In 2017, a good year in advance, we started planning a big congress for a client. We landed on spectacular Monaco as destination. Over the course of five days, 220 people from all over Norway stayed at the luxurious five-star hotel Hermitage and had a memorable congress with various themes each evening and a supplier exhibition with over 60 suppliers present at the Grimaldi Forum.
To kick start the congress, the hotel hosted a lovely dinner to welcome to guests. The following day started out with a conference led by Erik Solbakken, with input from the client company and various suppliers. In the evening, we had a casino evening at the legendary Café de Paris, with great entertainment by the talented Richard Bowers.
At the event during the same evening, we arranged a party with a pool party inspired theme at Monte Carlo Le Deck with salsa lessons by the lovely dancers from Show de Vida.
The guests where surprised with a free helicopter tour of Monaco, and to finish it all up we organized a gala dinner at the Salle des Etoiles. A fantastic location which became even more spectacular when Hans Orkester performed their opening act; playing their version of “Dovregubbens Hall” while the roof opened. This was a star-spangled evening with award show, dancers, talks – all led by the fun, inclusive, and amazing duo Erik Solbakken and Harald Rønneberg.
