Women in Tech started as an event on International Women’s Day in 2014. Since then, it has grown into a community, a platform and a movement. As in previous years, WITsthlm 2019 are free and open for all. When the 1,500 tickets were released they were gone in 45 seconds!
Some of the speakers of this year’s main event was:
Sarah Cooper, left Google to make people laugh. Cooper is a comedian, speaker and author of the bestselling books “100 Tircks to Appear Smart in Meetings” and “How to Be Successful Without Hurting Men’s Feelings”.
And this year’s moderator, Unn Swanström. Swanström works at Doberman, an international experience design firm based in Stockholm and New York. She’s currently working with Spotify as a Product Designer.


For this years #WITsthlm2019 event on March 8, 2019, JCPr managed the press and PR work. The work included traditional press work and coordination on site which generated both local media such as Svenska Dagbladet, Dagens Nyheter and Breakit and media world wide such as El Pais, The Jakarta Post, The National and TV Net.
